I'm Rodrigo, a filmmaker from CDMX, living and working in NY for over a decade.

I shine a light on multicultural narratives, bringing them to life with authentic, engaging storytelling that resonates deeply with audiences—whether through branded content, documentaries, or fiction.

I hold a BFA in Media and Communications from UIA (CDMX) and an MFA in Computer Art, specializing in Motion Graphics, from the School of Visual Arts (NY).

For over eight years, I was Head of Video at Remezcla, the largest Latin digital publisher and lifestyle agency in the U.S. I had the opportunity to direct and produce a wide range of projects, from branded content and documentaries to TV commercials and live music shows, collaborating with brands like Toyota, Pepsi, McDonald's, Jack Daniel’s, Target, and MLB. I also worked with incredible artists like Bad Bunny, Pelé, Miguel, and Chicano Batman, just to name a few. Some of these projects even received nominations and awards from the Webbys, ANAs, Shortys, Clios, and more.

Outside the brand world, I also dive into independent projects. My last fiction short hit festivals like New Orleans, NYLFF, and Morelia Film Festival, and won the Max Latino Short Film Competition—it’s now streaming on Max :)

Right now, I’m in post-production of my first feature documentary, El Pueblo Salva al Pueblo, coming in fall 2025.

Let's connect!  :)
